Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership

The Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership (SNAP) places twenty-seven AmeriCorps members at different conservation agencies and organizations throughout the Sierra Nevada to conduct watershed restoration and monitoring, watershed education, and volunteer recruitment and support.

SNAP 2009

The 2009 SNAP team at Yosemite National Park during SNAP's January 2009 orientation.

“This is the best position for anyone who loves stewardship work and wants to be outside in one of the most spectacular places in the country all the time with some great people. I am learning new things every day and enjoying my work."
-Andrew Schurr, 2009 SNAP Member
