Join as a friend of the Sierra Nevada Alliance

By contributing to the organization and becoming a friend of the Sierra Nevada Alliance, you'll help the Alliance continue to be a strong, responsible voice for the protection of the natural values of the Sierra Nevada, while we work to build sustainable communities. Friends receive our quarterly newsletter Sierra News, along with announcements of upcoming events.

Enroll as a Member Group of the Sierra Nevada Alliance

Your organization can join the Sierra Nevada Alliance and become part of a network committed to Sierra environmental issues. The Sierra Nevada Alliance is the only organization committed to strengthening the work of Sierra grassroots groups, which work to protect and restore the natural and community values of the Sierra. If you love the Sierra, the Alliance is an effective network to join. All it takes to become a member group is to agree to our mission statement, pay an annual membership fee, and fill out a membership form. Member groups enjoy increased visibility for their efforts, opportunities for funding support, a network to draw expertise from, and the latest information on conservation issues in the Sierra. Become a Conference Sponsor of the Annual Conference

The Sierra Nevada Alliance hosts an annual conference attracting conservation leaders working on Sierra issues from around California and Nevada. The conference spans a weekend in August and features workshops, inspirational speakers, award ceremony, and field trips. Sponsorships help pay for the costs of hosting our annual conference and at the same time will provide your company or organization with community and regional visibility. Sponsorships support the work of hundreds of individuals actively seeking a balance in which Sierra communities can thrive while protecting the natural resources that make the range special. Host a House Party

House Parties are a great way to let your friends and family learn more about the wonders and conservation challenges in the Sierra Nevada and provide the Alliance an opportunity to sign up more friends. It’s also a great excuse to get together with friends to celebrate the Sierra. House Parties are informal gatherings in a home featuring an Alliance staff member or board member presenting an inspirational slide show on the Sierra and our organization.
